- showcasing the talent of area artists, schools and organizations
- providing educational opportunities for all ages
- promoting interaction among artists and the public
- hosting forums for exchange of ideas, information and artistic expression
- encouraging and promoting public interest in the support of fine arts
- managing a central facility for the public to experience art at its finest
Tax deductible contributions from our supporters enables ARTWORKS around town to offer:
- guest-artist lectures and workshops
- outreach programs for youth
- demonstrations and discussions open to the public
- special exhibits
- international exchanges among artists
- placement of original art in public and corporate spaces
- artist information exchange
The Gallery and Art Center is operated by a Board of Directors with assistance from Artist Associates and other volunteers from the local community and region. It depends for its financial support primarily on contributions, gifts, and grants.
