ARTWORKS around town is...

a nonprofit charitable and educational organization, supporting, and sustaining artistic expression by:

showcasing the talent of area artists, schools and organizations

providing educational opportunities for all ages

promoting interaction among artists and the public

hosting forums for exchange of ideas, information and artistic expression

encouraging and promoting public interest in the support of fine arts

managing a central facility for the public to experience art at its finest

Tax deductible contributions from our supporters enables ARTWORKS around town to offer:

guest-artist lectures and workshops
outreach programs for youth
demonstrations and discussions open to the public
special exhibits
international exchanges among artists
placement of original art in public and corporate spaces
artist information exchange

The Gallery and Art Center is operated by a Board of Directors with assistance from Artist Associates and other volunteers from the local community and region. It depends for its financial support primarily on contributions, gifts, and grants.
